What counts as a connector call?
A connector call is any successful tool execution to a connected data source (SEC EDGAR, WellDatabase, RRC, etc.). Discovery and search calls within PatchOps are not counted. Failed calls are never billed.
How does the free tier work?
Every user gets 50 free connector calls (lifetime), no credit card required. You get full access to all 30+ public connectors: SEC, RRC, EPA, USGS, NOAA, BLM, EIA, and more. After 50 calls, choose a plan to continue.
What are BYOK premium connectors?
BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) means you connect your existing subscriptions (WellDatabase, Enverus, Corva, Palantir Foundry, etc.) through PatchOps. You provide your API key, we provide the AI integration. PatchOps does not charge for the underlying data. You maintain your own data subscriptions.
What happens if I exceed my included calls?
Professional and Team include $0.05 per additional call after the monthly allotment. Enterprise overage terms are handled through a custom contract.
Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. All plans are month-to-month by default. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime. Annual plans (2 months free) are billed upfront but can be canceled with a prorated refund.
Is the MCP connection and my data kept secure?
Yes. All traffic to and from the PatchOps MCP server is encrypted in transit (TLS), and your credentials and BYOK API keys are encrypted at rest. MCP calls run in isolated sandboxes, and connector arguments are validated before they leave the sandbox.
